MAGNI M18 Spartan
The M18 Spartan is the smallest of all Magni’s gyroplanes and is a real single seater intended for those pilots who are not particularly interested in twoseat flight and want to approach gyroplane flying.
The M18 Spartan is practical, basic and has the same stability and safety characteristics of all other Magni’s models. Due to its compact structure and light weight it is an extremely manoeuvrable, easy to fly and enjoyable gyro that will provide great satisfaction.
The M18 allows particularly short take-offs and landings as well as reasonable cruising speeds. Particularly noteworthy is its low speed flight performance due to the action of its large rotor.
The Spartan speed may range from a minimum of 30 km/h to a maximum of 170 km/h, with a cruising varying between 110 and 145 km/h.
The neat and large instrument panel features altimeter and air-speed indicator as well as engine RPM, CHT indicator, hour meter, rotor RPM counter, rotor brake and battery recharge warning lights. Electric trim and its related end-of-stroke indicator is available as an option. Despite its small size, the M-18 Spartan ensures excellent performance even in turbulent conditions, allowing untroubled and safe piloting.

As all others Magni’s gyroplanes, the M-18 Spartan model is the result of a combination of high quality materials and manufacturing: SAE 4130 steel TIG welded airframe, control array with aeronautical bearings and bolts, components in composite materials manufactured according to strict quality standards, accurate finishing and highly reliable systems.
The M-18 Spartan is powered by the well known two-stroke Rotax 582 with electric starter; a 42 liters tank (main and auxiliary) ensures a 2 hours maximum range.
The M-18 Spartan is an easy-to-fly aircraft always ensuring great fun and safety.
